Golan Telecom is responsible for the revolution in the Israeli cellular market. Established in 2012, Golan Telecom has made it its goal to dramatically reduce the prices of Israeli cellular services.

Golan Telecom was the first company to bring to Israel the “everything included” revolution with its inclusive packages which include unlimited calls and messaging and the largest surfing volumes.

During the approximately six years that we have been in operation, Golan Telecom has constantly been striving to bring the Israeli consumer the best and most value-for-money packages, continuing to challenge its competitors. Golan Telecom is currently the leading low cost company in the cellular market, providing its services to some 900,000 subscribers, almost all of whom are from the private sector, and enjoy the best value-for-money packages in Israel.

Shareholders

Golan Telecom was founded in 2012 by Michael Golan and other investors from France, among them Xavier Niel a shareholder in the French Free Telecom company.

In April 2017, Golan Telecom was bought by Electra Consumer Products, a member of the ELCO Group. 

In August 2020, Golan Telecom became a part of Cellcom.

Golan Telecom is focused on providing quality service to its subscribers.

As a company which offers straightforward and easily understood options. We are organized to provide the clearest and most easy to use service to our customers in a variety of channels, including our very easy-to-use self-service Internet site, Facebook page and our telephone center which is manned by hundreds of skilled service representatives.

Golan has some 300 points of sale across Israel in the leading malls and at branches of Machsanei Chashmal, Best Mobile and independent stores.

Golan Telecom’s Cellular Network

Golan Telecom is a partner of the Cellcom Network thanks to a network partnership agreement signed between the companies in April 2017.

In the framework of the partnership agreement, Golan Telecom partners Cellcom in sharing the value of the cellular network that was established by Cellcom.

The network is spread across the entire country and the Judea and Samaria territories and using it, Golan Telecom provides quality cellular services across the country using second generation, third generation and fourth generation LTE technology.

Golan Telecom is working constantly with Cellcom to continue expanding the spread of the network and upgrading its performance.
